About the Student Citizen Environmental Monitoring Program (CEMP) Log

With contributions from adult project investigators and student scientist collaborators, the Student CEMP Log helps individual student participants and communities across the Sound share information via the web. The goal is to establish a cohesive, Sound-wide awareness of ecosystem issues. The Student CEMP log compliments information found on the Student Scientists page such as data collected during monitoring events, photos, monitoring site profiles, reports, outreach materials and information for volunteer monitors.

    Dear Students and Parents:
We are currently working to integrate the student blog into our student monitoring program, including establishing guidelines for research content, and, guidelines regarding proper web etiquette and protocols.

We anticipate working with students to include "hard copy" field notes collected during the 2009-2010 program by the end of the 2010 spring term - and working with the students to go live over the summer.

    thank you!
